Yearly Town Events

Good Friday March of the Cross:  April of each year.  A large wooden cross is carried by citizens from Church to Church and downtown. The service ends with a community lunch at one of the sponsoring churches. All are welcome.

Car Show and Street Dance:  May of each year. A parade of antique and classic cars, music and dancing for all to enjoy.  Call for information and how to enter your vehicle.

Butterfly Saturday:  Arts and Crafts, good food and entertainment will be on the uptown streets. The Depot Museum will be open and there will be something for everyone.

Memorial Day Service:  May 31st of each year. The lawn of the Municipal Building will have a simple but meaningful service to honor our service men. You may bring lawn chairs.  The Depot Museum will be open.

Kitty Car Parade:  Children decorate bikes, wagons, skateboards and themselves and march from the Elementary School to the Park for the day.

Pickin' in the Park:  1st Friday evening, May-September. Anyone may come with their instruments or just to enjoy.  Bring lawn chairs and join in the fun. Windmill Park behind the Town offices.  Depot museum will be open.

Man and Woman of the Year Banquet:  Hudson honors in a special way those who serve it.

Haunted Hudson:  Haunted Tour through the Town. Hear stories about strange and spooky things about Hudson - Are they true? You decide!!

Thanksgiving Eve Service:  Community churches host a service in which all participate. Light refreshments and fellowship follow. Watch for annoucements of the host church.

Christmas Tree Lighting:  Lawn of Town Hall. Christmas story, children's music, and a special visitor for requests. Stores are open with refeshments and browsing. A good start for the season.

Christmas Parade:  From the middle school to the First Baptist Church north of Town. Church and Civic groups join antique cars, beauty queens, South Caldwell Band, fire departments and much more.
